Michael Garston
Born Newcastle upon Tyne, May 1931. Educated at Malvern College and
Durham University. Solicitor - former senior partner of Messrs Reynolds Porter Chamberlain of London and now a Consultant to Messrs Boodle Hatfield of Mayfair.
A member of the Chancellor's Court of Benefactors at Oxford University, a Governor of the Oxford Centre for Postgraduate Hebrew and Jewish Studies, a Member of the Advisory Board of the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at Wolfson College, Oxford and Honorary Fellow of the Medical School of the Royal Free Hospital.
Currently a Trustee and a member of specific Boards of a number of UK charities
including :
- The Royal Botanic Garden Foundation at Kew
- The Sea Cadets
- The Brain Research Trust
- The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton
- The Restoration of Appearance and Function Trust at Mount Vernon Hospital
- The Cystic Fibrosis Trust
A Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers; formerly the Honorary Legal Advisers to the Anglo-Austrain Society and a member of its Executive Committee.
